إليك طريقة عمل دونات:
في وعاء كبير امزج كوبين 
وربع طحين مع ربع كوب 
سكر ونصف ملعقة صغيرة 
ملح وملعقتين صغيرتين 
خميرة فورية...
أضف ثلاث أرباع كوب حليب 
دافئ وملعقتين كبيرتين زبدة 
ذائبة وبيضة إلى الخليط وامزج 
جيدا حتى تتكون عجينة...
قم بعجن العجينة على سطح 
مرشوش بالطحين حتى تصبح 
ناعمة ومرنة...
غطي العجينة واتركها تتخمر 
لمدة ساعتين حتى تتضاعف حجمها...
قم باستخدام قالب دائري لتقطيع 
العجينة إلى دوائر...
سخن الزيت في مقلاة عميقة على 
نار متوسطة...
اقلي الدونات في الزيت المسخن حتى 
تصبح ذهبية اللون من الجهتين...
بعد تقلي الدونات ضعها على ورق مطبخ 
لامتصاص الزيت الزائد...
قم برش الدونات بالسكر البودرة ...
