When it comes to gaming, Hk game in Hong Kong is no stranger. The city has been featured in numerous video games, and it has been a hotspot for global film production as well. Even so, developers of upcoming cat themed game, HK Project, took a page out of the book and turned to the locale for its inspiration.
Despite its name, HK game project is a futuristic game based in Hong Kong's cyberpunk world. It features cat-like abilities, and even some nifty wireless tech, but it's not out yet. Koola and Viv, the aforementioned kitty duo behind the project, aren't counting on a release for a number of years, which means you'll have to wait for it. In the game's upcoming version, players will be able to take on the role of an elite corporate police force and turn the tables on their foes. You'll also be able to take on the role of a Street Samurai, who uses advanced combat skills. There will also be some cat related technology in the form of drones, and even a virtual reality experience. Other features of the game include skill-based character progression, over 200 weapons and spells, and unique challenges. As well, the game's biggest selling point is its ability to create a sense of community within the Hong Kong setting. Players are encouraged to get to know each other by forming teams, and they're also encouraged to learn from each other. Although it's been a few years since the release of the original, you may still be able to get your hands on it if you're willing to splurge on the extended edition. This edition has all the main features of the original, plus an additional 6+ hour long Bonus Campaign. While the game doesn't look like it's been put through its paces yet, the team has been working hard on its development cycle. In addition to creating new and innovative graphics, they've taken the time to study cat behavior and build a robust technological support system. A special mention goes to Deckers, which provides critical technical support. HK game project is the brainchild of French game development duo, Koola and Viv. Their development blog gives a good glimpse of what they've been up to. They've been using the Unreal Engine 4 for their creation, and they're not far from putting the game in your hands. While it's not for everyone, the HK game is a fun and clever way to explore a dystopian future. It also has the potential to make you smile with its cuteness factor. And although it's still a few years out, it's not difficult to see why it's a must-buy. One of the most interesting aspects of the HK game project is the underlying technology that will power it. While the game itself is a work in progress, the development team has been studying the underlying technologies, and they've found that cat-like abilities could serve as an important new feature. |
